Provider Roles
Displayed below are the different provider roles and a description, the rights and the individual default screen of each role.
Clinician Description
- A Licensed health care professional.
Rights
- Read, Write Access to all clinical functions and specified business functions. May put clinical documents in closed complete status.

Para Professional Description
- An unlicensed individual authorized by law and/or provider to perform clinician functions under supervision.
Rights
- Read, Write Access to all clinical functions and specified business functions. May only close the document in draft, closed incomplete or ready to review status.

Clinical Supervisor Description
- A licensed Health Care professional designated by provider to oversee the work of other clinicians.
Rights
- Read, Write Access to all clinical functions and specified business functions, and access to the workspaces of other clinicians, special reports, and messaging.

Medication Specialist Licensed Description

Clinical Data Entry Description
- Non clinician, given access to enter clinical data on behalf of clinician. Clinician must review and mark documents closed complete.

- Read, Write Access to all clinical functions and specified business functions. May only close the document in draft or ready to review status.

Oversight Description
- An individual designated by provider to conduct oversight and improvement activities.
Rights
- Read-only access to all screens.

Security Administrator Description
- An individual designated by provider to setup security and ongoing maintenance of CMBHS for that provider.

- Read/Write access to all screen.

User Administrator Description
- An individual designated by the provider to assist user with limited security functions such as user id, passwords and adding new staff to the system.

- Staff Setup, user ID and Password maintenance for Provider Staff.

Authorization Requester Description
- Requests Authorization of Services.
Rights
- Read only access to clinical documents and read/write access to authorization and administrative notes.

Billing Specialist Description
- An individual authorized by the provider to view and process claims and invoices for the provider.
Rights
- Read access to all screens and write access to billing and invoice documents.

Program Clerk Role Description
- An individual with support responsibilities that require limited access to client's health records.
Rights
- Read access to most clinical screens but limited write access to administrative activities that do not require credentials.

Case Manager Description
- An individual designated by the provider to performs case management functions to include service plans, case management notes, Psych-educational notes screenings and referrals.

- Read, Write Access to all clinical functions and specified business functions. May put clinical documents in closed complete status.
